===Requirements===
* Minimum Aleph One version: 0.20 (June 22 2008)
* Number of players: 3+
* Gather as: Netscript game type
* Enable team play.

===How To Play===
Territory is a new game type with a simple premise: two teams try to
control as much area as possible.

A player and his team gain control of a polygon by stepping on it when
no opposing team is in that polygon. The polygon remains under control
until the other team gains control of it or until two enemy players are
in it at the same time. In the latter case, the polygon will become
neutral until one all members of one team in that polygon leave it or
die.

Score is based on the average percentage of the map controlled
(calculated with polygon area).

Simpler maps are most likely better for Territory play. I suggest
digging up old 7-polygon maps and using those.

===The HUD===
The Lua HUD (displayed at the top of the screen) follows this format:

[] A% (B%) [] C% (D%)  E% (F%)

where...
* [] is a colored icon

* A is the percentage of the map controlled by the red team at
  that moment
* B is the average percentage of the map controlled by the
  red team where average = % every tick divided by the number of ticks
  played

* C is blue's measurement of A
* D is blue's measurement of B

* E is your personal measurement of A
* F is your personal measurement of B

Each player's point total is set to value F; the score at the end of the
game is out of 100.

===Notes===
Polygons are controlled if and only if a player's feet are
touching the polygon's floor. The exception to this is in polygons with
deep liquids; the player needs only to dive into the liquid so that his
head is below it in order to control that polygon. If an enemy player is
in the air above a controlled polygon while the owner is still there,
the polygon will become neutral (i.e. players don't need to be on the
ground in order to neutralize).
